This Privacy Policy applies when you download, install, access, or otherwise use Send Fax on iOS, including any in-app features that let you scan, import, edit, and send documents by fax.
By using the Service, you understand that we will process information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

A. Information you provide
- Documents and images you choose to upload (e.g., scans, PDFs, photos) to prepare and send faxes.
- Recipient details, such as the recipient’s fax number and optional cover page information you enter.
- Support communications (e.g., messages you send us and any information you include in them).
B. Information collected automatically
- Device and app info (e.g., device model, OS version, app version, language, approximate region/country inferred from IP).
- Diagnostics (e.g., crash logs, performance data, error codes).
- Usage data (e.g., which screens/features are used and interaction events), to help improve stability and user experience.
C. Permissions you control on iOS
- Camera (to scan documents) and Photos/Files (to import documents).
You can manage these permissions in iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security (or
Settings → Send Fax, depending on iOS version).
3) How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide the Service (prepare documents, send faxes, and show delivery status/history).
- Operate and improve the app (debugging, performance analysis, feature improvements).
- Customer support (respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, communicate about your inquiry).
- Safety and integrity (prevent fraud/abuse, protect users and our systems, enforce terms where applicable).
If you use paid features, purchase processing is handled by the App Store (Apple). We typically receive purchase status (e.g., active subscription) rather than your full payment card details.
5) Tracking, analytics & advertising
We may use analytics tools to understand how the app is used and to improve performance. Depending on your configuration and region, we may also use technologies that support measurement and attribution.
- Analytics: helps us measure usage and diagnose issues.

Settings→Privacy & Security→Tracking.
Note: Some functionality (like anti-fraud, basic metrics, and crash reporting) may still operate even if you limit tracking, depending on how iOS and our providers classify the data.
6) Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use the Service responsibly and protect your device with a passcode/Face ID.
7) Data retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Documents: Typically retained only for as long as needed to process delivery and provide your fax history (if applicable). Some data may be cached temporarily for performance and then deleted.
- Diagnostics/analytics: Retained for a limited period to help improve stability and reliability.
If you want retention to be stricter (e.g., “delete immediately after sending”), tell me and I’ll adapt the wording.
8) Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- Permissions: Manage Camera/Photos/Files access in iOS Settings.
- Marketing: If we ever send emails, you can opt out using the link in the message (where applicable).

To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your request before fulfilling it.
9) Children’s privacy
Send Fax is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
